What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My last season I ended with 1,312 yards and 10 touchdowns. I am a hard worker in both football and in school. I was selected to be one of the school ambassadors and was the only sophomore picked to attend the HOBY national leadership conference.

One of the more complete backs in the class of 2020 is Elijah Green from Blessed Trinity. What catches our eye is the balance and urgency he plays the game with. Green gets upfield quickly, and his natural forward pad lean is some of the best we have seen He gets so low, fights off tackles keeping his pads squared and showing excellent lateral quickness in short spaces. Green is not an elite sprinter, but his change of direction and ability to read the hole, make a cut while exploding up field is special. Green is a decisive runner, he finds a seam, and hits the hole so hard. The 2020 back has been trained extremely well. Toughness is another skill where Green really shines, he breaks a ton of tackles, and in a lot of cases it’s his resolve to stay up right is the reason why. Green played 6 games his junior year, and during that stretch he pretty much averaged 100 yards a game. Going into his senior year, I think he is pretty much a lock for preseason All-State in 4-A. Green has outstanding quickness, his ability to read the defender and make well timed cuts allows for him to gash a defense consistently for big yards. Acceleration is good, working on top end speed this offseason should put most P5 schools over the top offering him. Green should continue to add weight though, and be a very good FBS running back.
