What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My passion to the game

Mason expects to play some receiver this fall, but watching his junior film, it certainly looks like the long 6’3″ OLB is better suited on the defensive side of the football. He’s very quick at getting around blocks. Doesn’t use his hands much, but good agility allows for him to get by an OT with relative ease. There is some decent film of Mason playing receiver too from his junior year – there will definitely need to be an increase in production though here his senior year. He plays well out in space on defense. I believe the 35″ vertical for sure. Mason plays with solid energy, but would like to see him get the ball carrier down more efficiently. He tends to tackle too high, and just doesn’t get enough leverage when making his attempt. Overall, I like Mason’s upside, he’s a D1 athlete no doubt, and expect him to make a nice jump into his senior year. From what we understand, he will make an impact on offense, so we wait with baited breath.
