Jones is a lanky defensive back who has rarely been beat in his HS career. He has good length to him, and over the last 6-8 months has grown an inch. He is now at Mays, after playing his sophomore year at Douglass in Atlanta. Jones goes into each tackle with bad intentions, but his form definitely needs some work. Jones has a wiry frame, looks to be a good fit to play CB even if he grows a little more. Very spring looking athlete but needs some additional work with his footwork, reading the receiver’s route. He does a nice job of getting inside positioning with the receiver. Jones is a real athletic talent, and think he can get some P5 interest in the coming year.
