What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My accolades consist of First Team all region defensive lineman. I finished the season with nearly 50 tackles and 5 tfls.

The senior out of Walnut Grove really seems to be slept on. With a wide frame at 6’2″ and 245 lbs. on top of a 6’5″ wing span, Overstreet is the type of athlete who just simply will add more weight. A few years from now, it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest that Overstreet is 280 lbs. and playing across the defensive line. That’s the rub to with Overstreet, his versatility and utilization on defense is numerous, and that creates so much opportunity for smart defensive coordinators to create favorable matchups. Overstreet has good closing speed, showing a top MPH around 20 MPH so far. Walnut Grove is 4-1 on the year, and their defense has been a huge reason why. Overstreet’s ability to shoot the A gap with his speed and power is a serious weapon and most high school offensive lineman lack the reactions to maintain good fundamentals while sticking with the senior. Overstreet reminds me of Jabari Hunt-Day from Hillgrove from almost 12 or so years ago. A great athlete and high school linebacker who is predestined to be a defensive lineman. Overstreet is an FBS caliber football player.
