Holifield has good size at 6’1″ and already 190 lbs. He tracks the pass well reading the QB’s eyes and makes good breaks on the football. Playing a deep safety role he has the speed to cover a lot of territory, especially on deep passes. Looks like the 2021 recruit had about 4-5 interceptions on the year. Pretty good tackler, comes in low and uses his good acceleration to make an impact in run support. Impressive athletic profile that should really fill out. Needs to drop his hips more on these tackle attempts, a lot of time he just dives head first and looks a little out of control. Good in pursuit though and tons of hustle coming from the backside. Holifield is a solid FBS prospect at FS for sure.
