Harper is now the high jump champion in his classification after getting 6’8″ this offseason. His recruitment is lifting off too, and several D1 schools have offered the athletic two-way player. One thing you know about Harper is that he has many reps both in-game and in practice in passing situations considering his HS’s offensive system. Harper is a very explosive athlete whose ability to accelerate is really impressive. He is just a complete athlete, and when he catches the ball out in space he can explode up field and away from the defense. He does that time and again vs very fast football players. Harper demonstrates a natural ability to elude tackles. Looking at his frame and ability to leap it seems like Harper would make for a good cornerback prospect. He shows all the attributes you look for and at the next level that should be a seamless transition for him.
