What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I work hard I’m a self stater. My primary position is Strong Safety, but I can play any position in the secondary.

STATS 2018: 60 tackles & 4 INT’s

Delaine has put together a really solid junior year with several INT’s and big hits down the middle of the field at his FS spot. He is a bit of a ball hawk and closes on the receiver quickly. From our count Delaine had 4 interceptions on the year, a few have been gift wrapped tho. He’s a physical hitter, who comes in with good momentum, lacks fundamentals wrapping up, something he will need to continue to work on. Solid size, he should fill out his frame pretty well as he is raw in the weight room, and you can see him being over 200 lbs easily. DeLaine does get low on his attempts, but needs to wrap up. He should be able to work on his pass coverage fundamentals in college, but already shows decent promise squaring up on the pass. He has an aggressive spirit out there on the field, and that’s something you cannot coach.
