What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am committed. I am coachable. I am capable. I was selected as Defensive player of the game and twice as the Farm Bureau player of the game in the 2017 season. I was selected as All County by CowetaScore and Newnan Times Herald. I had 69 tackles last season.
Holmes plays the game fast and furious coming off the edge and can absolutely bring the hammer on a tackle. I really like the acceleration we are seeing on film, good leg drive and just absolute hustle that we look for in FBS football players. He is an impressive OLB prospect, would should get legit starter reps this fall for East Coweta, and really jump on colleges recruiting boards. Lack of speed is the largest negative factor for Holmes, but I think he can improve his speed still. Very instinctive at shooting the b gap or coming off the edge at the right time. Plus he is physical getting off his blocks using his hands.
