Horsley had one of the highest touchdowns to reception ratios in the state scoring a touchdown per every 3.1 catches. The senior is incredible at going up top and attacking the football, and a few of the top highlight catches in 7A during the 2023 season. He most notable took the game over against Lowndes where he had 200 yards receiving, and was named player of the week. Horsley ended up with 708 yards on the year and 28 receptions. He is a good route runner, shows urgency getting up field on his release. Horsley is good fighting off coverage, getting in good position where his innate ability to gauge the pass and make last second adjustments. These are skills that are tough to find, and Horsley continues to improve athletically, they will become overwhelming advantages. He is still developing with his routes, but we like his general ability to explode out of his breaks, next is cleaning up his footwork. Horsley is a really good athlete with deceptive top end speed. He plays bigger than his 5’11” 182 lbs. frame. Considering the prospects still remaining in the state, the All-Region and All-State HM selection is one to target.
