Holston came on strong SR year playing off the edge but also further back in coverage at times too. Holston has a big frame, I wouldn’t put it to bed that he ends up at OLB, but no matter what he is a better fit to play closer to the LOS at the next level. The senior has pretty good footwork with his breaks, and I like how he accelerates down hill. Gets excellent leverage while taking on blocks, probably the best skill we see with Holston to be honest. He’s a good fit in a 4-2-5 or 3-5-3. Holston is a pretty smart player watching him drop back in a cover 2 zone and read the route tree you can see he has a sense for the direction of the play. It was a really productive year for Holston going up against top competition. Another aspect to his game that I love is his hustle. You see him routinely chase down ball carriers from behind, which is a great skill for a player so close to the LOS.
