Simmons has very good balance and runs with a lot of confidence coming off tackle. He is an option slot back, so he could play wide receiver or running back at the next level. He doesn’t have break away speed but does show nice patience and does read his blocks well. Keep his pads squared up field and doesn’t dance around much at all. Senior season he played free safety, slot back and running back. He’s got a good football IQ and is very tough fighting off tackles.
