The 2020 back is quick and powerful back that has gone up against varying competition each season of HS. As a sophomore in Stratford’s option offense, the downhill running back had over 1000 yards, and quickly become a middle Georgia favorite. What I like Duehart more than anything is his ability to make quick changes of direction in tight spaces to go along with his great forward running lean. He’s become a lot stronger in the last year, maxed out his squat to 500, which is a 50 lb increase in the last 9 months. Duehart was part of a run-heavy team last year, but at Stratford Academy he was the focal point as a sophomore. At Warner Robins he split carries in a pass-heavy offense, so he didn’t get to show off his skill set as much junior year. Senior film shows Duehart breaking off long runs now at Northeast, but I would like to see him stride out more and pick up his feet. Still, a ton of power at RB for this senior, and he just seems to have a knack at breaking arm tackles and getting the extra yardage.
