Samuel has great length, and will flat out put his body on the line in order to make a big hit. He doesn’t weigh much, and just from looking at his weight lifting numbers that’s the number one issue. He does a really good job of taking pursuit angles, and hitting the ball carrier in the numbers. Drops his hips and explodes through before contact. Samuel is just a natural hitter, he shows a ton of upside just from looking at his frame, and if he can make a jump athletically his stock could really shoot up with FBS schools. The 2019 recruit’s length allows him to break up passes from a wide radius.
