Like many Walton defenders in the past, Victor plays with a ton of energy. Junior year he played linebacker. Showing he could fire through the A & B gap like his hair is on fire during delayed blitzes. He does a great job of squaring up and nailing the ball carrier. Victor’s big-hitting mentality causes all sorts of havoc on the field, including causing a few fumbles. Victor improved his hip flexibility over the offseason and made the switch to defensive end his senior year. His first step was a lot more explosive and he did a really good job of using his hands to get off blocks on bigger lineman. The senior ability to get out to the side line is effective at stopping plays out to the perimeter. Overall, he’s a good looking athlete, with solid size to play a hybrid OLB/DE role at the next level.
