What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My work ethic and drive. I strive to be the best every time I step on field or in weight room. I like to think of myself as a leader on and off field.

Lackey has been playing a combination of TE and DE this year at Gordon Central. He’s got a pretty quick first step, and does a nice job getting leverage on the lineman in run support. The 2019 athlete moves fairly well laterally, he has a background playing basketball, so that’s never too much of a surprise. Lackey has a good frame to add another 15-20 pounds in the next year. His weight lifting numbers are right on track for what we look for junior his size at this current point in time. Over the next year we would like to see him increase his power clean, work more on lateral quickness and flexibility overall. He shows nice upside at either position right now. Dukes would fit in well for a defense that runs a lot of zone.
