Tidwell has been a good compliment to McConkey his junior year, and the two make for one of the more explosive combos in North Georgia running the football. His coaching staff has always been super high on the 2021 recruit giving him a lot of reps early on as a freshman even. Tidwell is elusive for sure, he does a good job of gauging the defense and making the right cut back or just accelerated around the defender. His acceleration is something else too, the 2021 back can hit his top speed right away and it looks legit – months later and our lasers prove just that with a 4.65 time. Should test very well at combines (he did). Plays some slot receiver but would like to see more. Has returned kicks before, so junior should have some solid hands. He’s a solid versatile back who has played a ton on the varsity already, and should be in store for a huge senior year too. Adding weight is huge for Tidwell, right now he is a shade under 160 and would like to see him get a whole lot closer to 170 this time a year from now.
