Carr shows the potential and drive you look for in a CB prospect. He is dedicated to the game, very physical for his size and is a tough all-around player. He’s still working his into the Collins Hill depth chart, but watching his quickness, his ability to make quick burst and attack the football is a trait we look for all CB’s. Carr has good body composition, and can deliver some serious power when making a tackle. He tackles through the ball carrier, and that stood out even more in his spring film. Carr got a lot of reps his junior year and looked really good stepping up into the flat and delivering some huge tackles. Cannot deny his closing speed, the 2020 DB gets there quickly, and is a solid tackler right on contact where he explodes at the hips, which explains why he also got some reps at safety.
