What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Body of work, and vision, and ability to make defenders miss in tight spaces.

Black was one of the leading rushers last year in Gwinnett County. He does a good job of using his blocks and makes high IQ cuts at the line of scrimmage. We really like how he plants his foot into the turf and gets up field. He keeps his pads low, and finishes off his runs with forward lean to pickup additional yardage. Black is an FBS caliber RB with good instincts and has played against some of the toughest competition in the state of Georgia. We expect him to have an even bigger season this upcoming fall and considering Brookwood is returning a lot of starters, including a veteran offensive line. Quick SR Update: Black had his best game of HS career against Colquitt County where he rushed for 267 & 5 TDs in a blowout signature victory for the Broncos. He showed his whole arsenal of moves, even leaped over a defender, and proved that he is a legit FBS caliber running back. Black is an every down back at the next level, and we like him a lot in a zone read blocking scheme.

2017 STATS: 1927 yards (long of 77), 217 carries (6.2 ypc) & 36 total TD’s
