Danny Clark is a functional athlete on the offensive line with good hip bend and a nice flat back while engaged. At around 6’4″ and 260 lbs., he shows good body control while blocking, keeping under control while scoop blocking on the perimeter. Strong lower lumbar strength lets Clark stay attached while moving his feet well. Good strength up top, with several blocks where he knocks the defensive lineman off balance with a good punch. Clark looks good sliding his feet and has the frame to swing across the line of scrimmage. While he shows solid film as a pass blocker, his strength lies when run blocking, so being an offensive guard or right tackle seems like a natural fit. A lot might depend on how Clark fills out his frame. Clark’s feet do a lot of the heavy lifting while blocking. He can seal off defenders while getting really good leverage. Has a reported 78″ wingspan, which is believable. The senior has received interest from FCS programs throughout the fall, which seems like a great fit. Clark has a 3.5 GPA too. Hard worker going through the process in the right way, seems like a college will bite with an offer soon.
