What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Dedication to the sport and the goal of a career in football

Bundy is one of the biggest linemen in this recruiting class, and over the last year he has packed on the weight really filling out his 6’6″-6’7″ frame. His sophomore film showed a ton of promise, so going thru his junior year we were looking to see him take another step in his development. There is no doubt that he is stronger now, but at the same time, he appears to have lost some flexibility. The 2021 recruit needs to keep a flatter back while engaged and just get stronger at the point of attack too. There was more pancakes in his sophomore film, or so it seemed. Bundy can block too high at times, and just doesn’t generate a lot of power you would expect from a player his size. If anything, he has worse body control than as a sophomore. I wouldn’t call the last year a regression, but there definitely was not the progression we were originally hoping for. Squat #’s need to go up and so does power clean. Bundy is lacking in core strength and it shows on film with his lack pancakes. He has a lot of potential as a pass blocker, and footwork is pretty good.
