Williams is at WR and DB this year after playing all around the field as a sophomore. He’s not a big athlete, but does a nice job of playing the football. He is a smart player, seems to have a good feel for the game, and flows to the football faster than more of his teammates. Williams is a fearless runner with the ball in his hands. He makes cuts that are well timed and utilizes defender’s bad angles. His slight frame indicates that gaining weight could be a long term problem, but go to like his general football sense out on the field. He fits best as a CB at the next level just going by current skill set and agility/balance he shows on the field. Big focus this offseason is doing some serious work in the weight room, which should improve his open field tackling to some degree.
