Burke County has been a consensus top 10 team the last two years in the state of Georgia, and this year they remain undefeated. Kelly winning player of the year honors in his region should really speak volumes about his ability. He has a solid all-around body composition, and shows outstanding speed once he can get out in space. We really like his running stride, the senior can turn the corner and gets up field in a hurry. He has legit football speed, doesn’t hesitate, just gets up field and makes a play. Kelly is a true athlete playing almost everywhere on the field for Burke. He returns kicks and can be electrifying when he gets enough blocking. Kelly plays QB on offense at Burke and his elusiveness is by far his best skill there but looks defense is his calling. Watching his CB film, it is very obvious Kelly can be a playmaker at that position at the next level. His elite acceleration is perfect for CB and he demonstrates the physicality as a tackler that you must need to defend screen passes at CB these days. Very high on this senior as a defender expecting him to land more offers.
