Head is part of a group of 2022 receivers at Perry that you have to like their upside. He is a very physical blocker, honestly one of the better open field blockers in this class at WR. He’s versatile, and lines up at RB making a good amount of recaptions in the backfield. Head has a long running stride. He isn’t going to make many defenders miss, but rather try to run them over. I can see why they put him at RB, but he could stand to run away from the defense instead of going straight at them, especially in the open field. Head is a very versatile player though. He reminds me of Tijai Whatley from a few years back out of Darlington. He should be over 190 this time a year from now, and with his physicality that should really give defenses trouble. Route running is decent, he does a few good double moves and changes directions nicely. His blocking alone should catch the attention of any run heavy team – option teams especially. Head’s strong start to the season sort of fell off with the emergence of a few more playmakers at Perry, but still a solid recruit.
