Evans is a new transfer to Central Gwinnett from South Carolina. His brother played at Ole Miss, so he’s got good bloodlines. The 2019 recruit is mostly an upside kind of player. He has good size, and moves fairly well but overall I would consider Evans to be a raw football player. Moving to a 3-4 defense where he can attack from the edge would suit the defender the most. He needs to be more physical with his hands, and get a better initial push at the point of attack. I really like how quick he looks coming off the line. Evans is very athletic, and there is no doubt he can play at the FBS level. Offers have slowly been rolling in for Evans, who is no stranger to college recruiters at this point. Love the fact that he also got reps at linebacker too – this guy is a versatile P5 beast who could slip and play right away for a G5 school.
