What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m a team player. I work hard both on and off the field. I have a vast knowledge of the game, both offense and defense. I work outside of the football field to improve my speed and agility. I have good lateral quickness.
Boone has excellent short space quickness and can displace himself quickly in new areas. He has worked hard at becoming a long snapper the last year, and watching his junior film you see quality snaps with solid velocity too. Boone gained a good bit of weight over the last year and is now 190 lbs, which is exactly where we projected him to be a year ago. He was a solid contributor his junior film as the team long snapper, and I really like his short snapping with how quick the ball comes out on field goal attempts. On punts, he needs to continue to work on increasing velocity, but accuracy does look solid. Boone is a high quality student-athlete with a great attitude that would be a welcomed addition to any program. He also plays outside linebacker at Jackson, and I definitely think his senior year he is set on becoming a bigger contributor on defense, which could definitely help attract more colleges for his long snapping.
