Wright grew into his new QB role last fall seamlessly. He’s got a really long running stride, which allows him to pick up a lot of ground in a hurry. Really impressed with his throwing mechanics; he has a really quick release and throws a tight spiral. Wright looks very comfortable in the spread offense where he can get out of the pocket and either throw the ball on the run or tuck it for a good rushing gain. Also does not seem to lose accuracy nor velocity when moving to his dominant side or weak. The 2018 QB is a heavily slept on dual threat but that could change in the coming months, especially with camp season looming.
