What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have gotten All-region and All State 3 years in a row. I have taken my team to the state championship 2 years in a row and I plan to take them again this year. No one works harder than I do both in the class room, or on the field. Playing college football has always been a dream of mine, so I would be honored to get the chance to play.
McCollum has certainly put together an extremely productive high school career. I was not aware that Creekside Christian existed, but now that I have seen the 2018 athlete in action, you got to be impressed his pure athleticism. He has a nice running stride, good forward lean so he can take on contact ahd shrug off would be tacklers. He has excellent balance, quick feet so that he keeps upright. Very subtle with his cuts, but allows him to break off long runs with out much dancing in the process. McCollum is a determined runner who refuses to go down on the firs ttackle. Really like his size, and he shows good hands on a few over the shoulder flag routes – makes me wonder about his potential as a receiver at the next level too. He can certainly play the game, and no doubt he get attention from a lot of colleges these final few months in the recruiting process. We could see the senior end up weighing around 210=215 at the next level. He could be a good one at SS too.
