The Hixon twins should get some solid college interest over the next year here. Clayton plays on the OL. He gets a good drive with his legs. Really churns out and shows good power, but needs a little more work with hand placement and getting better leverage. He is a raw powerful football player. He is a solid blocker for sure, shows good agility considering his very thick lower base. Hixon has taken a nice jump in terms of fundamentals and just getting more explosive at the point of attack this offseason. He has looked good at various camps. At 6’3″ and a 6’10” wing span Hixon is able to get very good leverage while blocking. For his recruitment, there could be a caveat to get his commitment could also land his twin brother depending on how his recruitment pans out down the stretch here. Personally, I think Hixon is extremely underrated at this point. Great family, hard worker who has improved really nicely since his sophomore year when we first started to scout him.
