Hyatt is the Class 2-A Tim Tebow if there ever was one. The last few years he has rushed for several thousand yards, leading his team as both a sophomore and junior. Hyatt is tough as nails running in between the tackles. His weight lifting numbers are the best of any 2022 QB in the state. Hyatt runs behind his pads and keeps his legs churning through contact. Even watching clips from this spring where Haralson County took on Cedar Grove, Hyatt stood out and was bashing through defenders for extra yards. Hyatt throws an okay football. Wouldn’t say he has a ton of juice on his throws. He’s an interesting option QB. His speed is good, not great, but that’s not really his game either. Hyatt isn’t going to run around defenders because running through them works too well. The 2022 recruit plays some defense, but since his load is so high on offense it’s hard to have a ton of production on that end. Given his strength and athleticism though, he could end up being a steal at MLB too. The position that we like Hyatt the most though is b-back in an option offense. His skill set is perfect for that and the 2022 recruit is at home inside the tackles taking and dishing out the punishment. Senior year he did break off longer runs and also got more reps on defense where he really put up some huge games on both sides of the football. Hyatt is a true warrior on the field, he is a hardworker in the weight room and given enough time we think he could be a complete steal at linebacker at the next level.
