Murray made All-Region as a sophomore at Academy of Richmond Co. taking over one of the corner spots for a player who signed D1 the year prior. The 2021 recruit does a nice job of playing the deep pass and gauging the trajectory. He does a solid job of reading the play, and flips his hips quickly to get up field. For Murray, he needs to focus on improving hip quickness and lateral quickness overall. Instinctively, Murray does a good job of reading the QB’s eyes and jumping the pass. He puts himself in very good positioning to make a play on the pass and had a lot of PBU’s for a sophomore defensive back. Needs to work on strength numbers and really hit the weight room. Tackling technique is okay, he shows little fear stepping up and making a play but needs to gain more weight.
