My Motor

Steele didn’t play in GA in 2018, but did good experience down in Florida. Off the bat, Steele is very fast – that’s a fact. The 2020 recruit was primarily used as a blitzer in his spring game vs Lanier. Tackling is not a finished product, but does a good job of hustling out plays and making an impact. His best film is him lined up at DE where he can naturally react to the play and use his speed to get into the backfield. Steele does fight off blocks well and shows pretty quick arms. Probably a better fit to play OLB in a team that sends a lot of blitzes off the edge, which is something Collins Hill has used heavily in spring film. Has some legit upside as a speed rusher. Needs more reps, film time and be quicker reacting to the play at linebacker. At this point, Steele is a specialist who can attack the offense on obvious passing downs, but we need to see him more in pass coverage to get a full scope of his potential.
