Neal is a super shifty slot back that has leaped onto the scene his sophomore year. His brother was a major contributor the last few years at Cedartown and though he might be a tad smaller, he looks like overall a better athlete or at least he is specializing more in one position. Neal is a tough guy, he goes down the middle and me difficult catches in traffic. He also takes a fair amount of hand offs on jet sweeps, taking the ball right into the teeth of the defense and getting up field quickly. We like how he is developing, his patience using his blocks is promising for a sophomore. Him and TBMJ will make a nice thunder and lightning combo at Cedartown for the remainder of this season and the next. His senior year he could put up massive numbers but that’s a few years off from now.
