What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

All region honors sophomore and senior year and all county honors sophomore and senior year.

Walter has put in all of the work in order to be a college football player. He has solid grades, and an early test score that qualifies. He has a good football IQ, makes good breaks on the pass. He shows above average speed, capable of sticking with the receiver in man coverage. Tackling is where he stands out the most. Walter does a great job of dropping his hips before an attempt and hitting the ball carrier square in the numbers. His ability to gauge the deep pass and make a PBU, while also showing the awareness of when to step up and defend the run, separates the 2019 recruit from others in his class. Walter gained close to 15 lbs over the last year, he’s really improved on every major lift by over 50 lbs. His senior year he ended up with 80 tackles, 8 PBU’s and 1 INT too. His efforts earned him all-region and all county. Walter is just a rock solid football player, he really did a little bit of everything for his team, and I like his ability to digest the play quickly and get a good jump on it.
