Daniels is a smart football player, he has a penchant at making the big play, and will break off and react to the play very quickly. He makes plays all over too, but seems to have a really good feel at NB where his physical tackling can have an impact. Had a game winning PBU/INT in the corner that won the game at the end against Salem. Read the play really well, and made big play in support. Good football player, he doesn’t have a ton of height, but weighs well over 180 as a junior, and you can easily see him being over 200 lbs at the next level. That could entice some certain D1 schools, he’s really showing a complete game as a NB at this point, so I can a DC really liking his high IQ game. 65 tackles, 1 INT and 6 PBU’s are solid productions numbers for a junior, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially with turnovers. Needs to work on explosion, he goes into this tackles with bad intentions, but needs more time in the weight room. Heading into senior year he’ll get the opportunity to show off his gains and hard work from this offseason.
