What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
First, I love the game. Even moreso, I am committed to the craft of being a serious CB. 3rd of 4 kids. I understand how much of a commitment a college opportunity means. With one brother who played WR @ Tusculum & Morehouse Colleges and my father who played CB @ Cal, it has always been clear as to what it takes to be a college student/ athlete. Interested in a Business or Economics Major in college. Thankful to have the talent and drive to even be considered a college student/ athlete.
In a first full year as a starter on Varsity, finished the season with 5 INTs and 18 PBUs (in a run heavy region); 2nd team All region; 2nd team All County. Has fluid hips. Continues to get stronger in the weight room. Smart corner with good instincts – errant throws typically get picked off. Browning was a preseason all-state selection for the 2017 season. He has followed up his outstanding JR year with 5 interceptions, 60 tackles and 2 blocked punts. He is really good at going up top and playing the pass, which earned him snaps at free safety this year as well. Browning is fully qualified, and ready to make an impact on a college campus.
undersized, but plays with minimal mistakes … seems to always be around the ball. No hassle kid. Team 1st guy …
