Kubiak’s energy permeates out there on the field and it is infectious to his teammates. Watching him in the Corky Kell and strong tough linebacker was all over the place playing with a motor that went over 200 MPH, and that’s uphill. He takes on linemen with tenacity and is pretty quick getting off blocks. No fear in the 2020 recruit, he stick his nose right in there and is a nice textbook tackler wrapping up at the thighs and driving thru the ball carrier. Does a very good job of settling into his tackles. Nice agility moving side to side. Size is obviously the biggest issue for Kubiak, he’ll probably have to play out more in space in college and should be a nice fit in a 3-5-3 where he can bust up screen passes and make explosive tackles. Definitely going to play at the college level, his strong fundamentals and tenacious effort would be excellent to get on special teams early.
