Pruitt was one of the passing leaders last year in the state of Georgia. He was voted County Co-Player of the Year last fall by the Newton Citizen and also the Region Offensive Player of the Year. First thing when watching Pruitt on film is how active his feet are. He does a great job of rotating his hips in the pocket and changing directions quickly to avoid the rush. He consistently sets his feet and has innate timing with his throws. The 2018 QB has some heat on his passes too, and shows ample strength to get the ball out to the sideline on deep outs. He has an outstanding touch on his deep pass, and does a great job leading the receiver. Pruitt is not a dual treat QB really, but shows the ability to proficiently run the spread offense. His senior year he could put up special numbers but will have to build a relationship with new receivers. Puitt’s pocket awareness and natural feel for the game separates him from the competition and we think he is an FBS QB at the next level.

What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I have always been in the role of being a leader so I think that I am well equipped to lead any program on and off the field. I think that I have a certain knowledge of the game as I am always studying it. I’ve been around football my whole life and have been on sidelines since I can remember as my dad has been a high school coach for over 20 years.
