Jones has great length, and shows a nice frame that should really allow him to gain weight. He’s got a natural athletic build, perfect for an offensive tackle at the next level. Fundamentally he needs some work, but when he gets leverage on the lineman he does nice job peaking on his toes and driving the defender back. The 2019 recruit has a ton of upside at the next level. This offseason I would like to see him make progress with core strength and to show more body control when blocking. He generates a lot of power right at the point of attack, and with more work in the weight room he could develop into a big sleeper offensive tackle in this recruiting class. His ability to finish blocks is good, but think with his major athletic advantages he will make for eye-catching senior film.
