Williams has worked hard thru the Buford program and was a nice two-way FB/DE for the Wolves in 2019. Williams knows only one speed, and that’s fast. He really explodes upfield and is quick to locate a defender to block. There is always heavy competition at Buford for time on the field, and Williams certainly found reps, but senior year we would like to see him more on the defensive side of the ball at either OLB or DE. Teams that are looking for FB’s will not find an athlete with more productive film, and you can see some of the blocks he made were key to long runs. Really takes pride in his blocking, you can tell with him running 50 yards downfield to meet his back in the end zone. Williams is a good glue player for a college program, and someone we have graded out as a D1 recruit. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some P5 programs take interest in Williams as a PWO honestly. Big fan of Williams as a football player, but seems like a good all-around individual too.
