Bacon appears to be the next big time athlete at Glynn Academy with how well he flows to the football and the way he finishes off plays. He sees the field very well at his free safety spot, and you see him line up his tackles really well. Fundamentals are coming along, and we see him come in a little high on his attempts, but think that is something you can clean up. Cannot teach the quickness in which Bacon breaks on a play, and think with more time he can be an excellent free safety at the next level. Bacon has very good speed, and covers a ton of ground. His first few steps put himself in such good positioning, Bacon is not just a really good athlete, he seems to consistently get a good jump on each play. Bacon makes big plays and goes in for big hits, wish he squared up more though and didn’t just toss his body around or tried to fundamentally tackle more often than shoulder checking.
