Really big on Irby after watching him at the Elite GA Classic as a sophomore. The 2020 running back has good vision, sees the seam and digs his cleats in the turf getting up field. He is a natural at reading the linebacker and setting up his hole. He shows very fluid hips. Irby has really nice hands coming out of the backfield and that was utilized in the all-star game and last fall as well. Irby has a strong lower body, his frame suggest a classic power back look and he has a fairly good pad lean while running. We would like to see him pick up his feet more, and for his acceleration to improve heading into this fall. He is a nice power back, and we expect to see him get more yards after contact. His low center of gravity and above average running vision should really grab the attention of D1 colleges. Was injured for a lot of the season this year, but came back the final few games and played well. Irby has a wide frame, and has continued to add on weight during his HS career.
