What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I feel like i can fit in any defensive scheme. You can move me around at different positions such as LB, SS, FS or NB. My sophmore year i started as a LB and had 3 sacks and about 30 tackles. My junior year iplayed SS and had about 40 tackles and 3 force fumbles. I recieved the Defensive MVP for the Cam Newton 7v7 at Marietta High School.
Dewberry was named defensive MVP for Cam Newton’s nationally ranked 7v7 football team. He plays all over the field for Eagle’s Landing at WR, DB or LB. He’s just a natural football player who hustles to good spots and the ball just seems to find him. Whether he is stripping the ball carrier, or jumping over the entire offensive line to block a FG attempt the senior just makes plays. Dewberry would fit in perfectly as a 5th defensive back in a 4-2-5 defense playing close to the line of scrimmage. We really like his closing speed and how he goes full sprint on his tackle attempts. His ability to cause turnovers should absolutely attract FCS schools interest.
