Rhodes took over the starting job at Creekview last year, and I’ll be the first to admit, I didn’t expect him to be so quick getting up field. He is a legit threat to run the football, and in fact, flat out dangerous moving around in the pocket. He has a really nice running stride, very deceptive runner who changes directions well on the fly. Throwing the football is solid, he spreads it around well, and his top target had close to double digit touchdowns on the year. Rhodes puts a nice trajectory on his pass allowing his receiver to go up and make a play. He recognizes the defense pretty quickly and can attack a zone or man defense pretty well. Rhodes is definitely a good athlete, his agility could even get him looks at slot receiver. Continuing to fill out his frame is very important, but definitely like how quickly the 2021 recruit makes decisions and his quickness in general. Should continue to add weight, and be around 200 lbs. High academic schools should be very interested in Rhodes, maybe even some academy option schools if he can continue to fill out his frame.
