What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I'm fast. I'm smart. Dedication. Determination. Drive. Failing is not an option and I do not settle for mediocre. I am at the top of my class and I give everything on the field and in the class room. I will conquer my dream. The path is just yet to be determined.
Carey does have a good running stride, and last season as a junior he showed flashes where he can absolutely burn a defense with his speed. Last year East Coweta was a more run heavy team, and Carey’s talents were only utilized for long touch downs on run fakes. We have a feeling that his touches will increase next fall, and expect more plays from the short to intermediate range. Also think his top end speed can be utilized well on jet sweeps coming out of the slot or bubble screens where he can find a seam and accelerate.
