From South Cobb now to McEachern, Christy has carved out a place in the class of 2019 recruits as a legit prospect. He was at the Elite JR All-Star game last fall. He is smooth coming out of his release, and shows the speed to blow by most CB’s. The 2019 recruit has long arms which are used well as a blocker or making a play on the deep ball. He has an extra gear to his running stride that caught us off guard on one slant play. Christy shows solid body control and concentration when playing pass in the redzone, but would like to see him attack the pass more, instead of relying on just his height. He should see a ton of targets his SR year with McEachern becoming a more pass-heavy team and the graduation of a few seniors.
