The class of 2020 quarterback threw for 1612 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and completed 59% of his passes on 236 attempts while also keeping his turnovers down with just 5 INTs. Hembree played his best football as the season went on, there was a little bit of an adjustment period, and he still had not gotten back two big playmakers on offense. Ball location and recognizing matchups were Hembree’s top skills. He is a quick decision maker and does a nice job tossing the ball out to his teammates quickly. He needs to look off the defense more and not lock onto his wide receiver, there were a few plays where a college DB would just pick the pass off. He’s losing a few offensive playmakers, but realistically I would like to see Hembree throw for over 2000 yards this year.
