What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
junior year had 5 sacks, pick six, and 10 tackles for loss and on offense had 5 receptions for 35 yards. I’ve gotten player of the week, Walton county player of the month, Walton county elite 11, and 2a honorable mention
The 6’2″ Barfield was split out at the flex spot a lot during 2019, but also was lined up at the running back spot at times too. He’s got a nice frame to continue to add weight, and should be well over 220 lbs. He also played linebacker this year, and some defensive end too. It would be apt to call Barfield a versatile player. He might be a better fit at linebacker in college – he shows good anticipation with the play and solid strength at getting the ball carrier down. He needs some work with his tackling technique, but I think if he gets the time to focus on one position he would really develop a lot quicker.
