Honestly a little surprised that Fuqua doesn’t have more D1 interest at the moment, but right now he is mostly under the radar. At 6’5″ 275 lbs., he has a good frame to work with for sure. Definitely needs to get quicker out his stance, but watching him the open field he’s a solid athlete. He does a good job of scoop blocking and moving his feet out on the perimeter. Does a pretty solid job of keeping a flat back. Uses length well, gets above average leverage. Want to see more strength coming from his lower body. Just now enough power at the point of attack right now. He’s definitely a recruit to redshirt, cannot deny his upside. Fuqua works on his core strength and balance/getting quicker out his stance then I think his D1 interest will really bloom. He’s a bit of a work in progress in pass blocking, and does seem to get his feet stuck instead of sliding with the defender.
