Smith is an accurate passer who moves very well in the pocket and get out in space and make plays. He’s now got two years of starting experience under his belt. Definitely has good arm strength. Nice frame, has grown an inch and gained 15 lbs. in the last year. Smith has wide shoulders, he is definitely going to continue to add weight, and wouldn’t be surprised to see him around 220 in college before it is all said and done. Has pretty good arm strength making tough throws out to the sideline, definitely keeps the ball on a line. Needs to work on trajectory though and show more touch in certain situations, especially in the red zone with shoulder fades. Steps up in the pocket, makes pretty good reads an doesn’t seem to have trouble with pressure. Good runner, hits his top speed quickly.
