I believe that my passion for the game of football and my work ethic combined with my physicality will help me standout as a prospect.
Ruiz-Velasco showed a lot of promise getting off blocks and showing a ton of aggression as a sohpomore as a JV player, but going into his junior season we did expect an all-region caliber jump. The 2019 recruit is explosive coming out his stance, which a combination of quickness but also a commitment to improving his technique. He is a solid run-stopper and his motor to get after the ball carrier is his biggest advantage. He could be a solid edge rusher at the next level.
